Yasaka Atletico Speed Pro Table Tennis Blade

The Yasaka Atletico Speed Pro Table Tennis Blade is an offensive blade designed for players who favor quick attacking transitions, direct acceleration, and connected feedback. Its five wood layers and two outer fibre layers form a reinforced structure for fast drives, counters, and forward-driving topspin. As an upgraded model in the Atletico Speed series, it places particular emphasis on fibre construction and the overall sensation of contact.

A key feature of the Pro version is its increased fibre weave density. This revision is intended to improve the blade’s cohesive response and make its feedback feel more clearly connected throughout the structure. For players who pay close attention to contact sensation, this is an important part of the Speed Pro concept.

The 5+2 outer-fibre layout positions the reinforcement beneath the outer wood veneers. This arrangement suits a direct offensive approach, allowing players to combine compact strokes with positive acceleration. It is particularly relevant to attackers who take the ball early and use quick placement changes to maintain pressure.

Atletico Speed Pro offers a platform for fast attack combined with topspin. Players can open a rally with rotation, then move into quicker drives or stronger loop drives as opportunities appear. This combination suits an attacking game in which spin prepares the point and forward speed helps finish it.

For close-to-the-table exchanges, the blade’s intended role centers on active play. Compact counters, firm blocks, and quick forehand-to-backhand transitions fit naturally into this approach. Players who like to meet the ball early can use short, purposeful strokes to redirect pace and change the direction of the rally.

The emphasis on overall structural response also makes Speed Pro relevant to continuous attacking play. During repeated drives and topspin exchanges, a connected contact sensation can help players judge the stroke and adjust their next shot. The blade is best suited to players who actively control racket angle, timing, and acceleration.

For stronger attacks, the outer-fibre reinforcement provides a supported foundation for committed strokes. Forward-driving loops, active counters, and decisive finishing shots fit its speed-oriented identity. Rubber selection can shape the final setup, allowing players to emphasize grip and rotation or a quicker, more direct response.

Available in FL shakehand and CS Chinese penhold versions, Yasaka Atletico Speed Pro accommodates different offensive techniques. It is an appealing option for players seeking an outer-fibre blade with an upgraded weave design and a focus on direct attacking play, quick transitions, and clear feedback.
